Step by step

• Orientation and overview by the Angkor Map.
For this, you get an A3 printout.
• A brief outline of Angkor history, as the map shows.
• Choice of your favourite temples.
• Drafting your itineraries.
• Learn how to read temple plans.
• Advice for selected temples.
• Your questions.
Why did kings keep building new temples? What Gods did they worship? What happened in the temples?
This will take one or two hours.

Suggestions for the first day of your tours

After purchasing the Temple Tickets, go directly to Bakong and Preah Ko.
Lunch in a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, you visit Banteay Srei and East Mebon or Pre Rup.
Transport by car.
Further tours you can do by cycling.

Price 50 USD in total; please pay cash.
10 USD discount for booking in advance.
Tour guides and managers are welcome to audit free.
At the eve of your tours, best at 5 pm, at your hotel.
