Practical Advice for your travels to Angkor
Travelling in Cambodia
The country is better than its reputation.
Wherever you will travel, you will be in a friendly civilization, and not in a jungle.
Landmines have never been a problem for visitors, nor have border conflicts.
However, there are no rules on the big roads, the traffic is tricky and full of unpleasant surprises; do not drive yourself and find a solid driver.
Please note that you will pay with USD, and not in the local currency.
Time zone: Bangkok time, GMT (London time) + 7 hours.
