Display and decay of splendour - late Buddhist temples in Angkor

From 9th to mid 12th centuries, the kings of Angkor ruled the Wold on behalf of the Hindu God Shiva and venrated him in grand pyramid temples.

From late 12th to 13th centuries, Angkor was turned Budddhist.
